Essential Oils Pack a Powerful Punch

Essential Oils Pack a Powerful Punch

Essential oils have come to the forefront for many over the last several years.  Over the centuries people have discovered and used essential oils to help support them on physical and emotional levels.   They are highly concentrated and a little goes a long way!  Just imagine 600 pounds of rose petals in just one ounce of oil! With that understanding, one drop of essential oil packs a powerful punch!

To understand deeper the powerful punch of essential oils, we need to dive a little deeper into the world of “frequency”.  Now I will try not to go too deep into this subject, but you need to understand a little to understand the “why” of the effective nature of essential oils.

To quote Albert Einstein, “Everything is energy and that is all there is to it.  Match the frequency of the reality you want, and you cannot help but get that reality.  It can be no other way.  This is not philosophy, this is physics.”

What is Frequency?  It is a measurable rate of electrical energy flow that is constant between two points.  So, what does that mean?  The state of our health and well-being is directly affected by the frequency of our body, and our frequency is affected by the frequency of things we come in contact with.

Essential Oils have a range of frequencies from 46 MHz to 580 MHz!  Healthy bodies have a smaller range of 62 MHz to 72 MHz . Clinical research has shown that essential oils have the highest frequency of any natural substance known to man!   Our human bodies readily accept the benefits of essential oils due to the fact that our frequency and essential oil frequencies are compatible with one another.  Essential oils have immune stimulating properties, and they enhance and support the building of our immune system, whether they are topically applied or diffused.  Isn’t that amazing?

Dr. Eric Hensen, a neurologist, has discovered that floral and citrus scents may help the left brain reduce anxiety and aggression-related responses.  Peppermint and Frankincense for the right brain may enhance overall brain activity.

Just like it is healthy to eat foods in their natural growth season, there are benefits to using certain essential oils during certain times of the year.   During this time of year, the winter months, if you are feeling creative and want to explore try playing with Nutmeg, Vetiver, Cinnamon leaf, Neroli, Spearmint, Birch bark, Cedarwood Atlas, Celery seed and Sweet orange essential oils.  Essential oil really is effective any time of year, but you may find a blend that is warm and comforting in these colder weeks using some of the oils listed above.

It is important to note that when using essential oils, you want to use caution.  Always use essential oils with a carrier oil i.e., coconut oil, almond oil, jojoba oil to name a few.  Keep essential oils away from your eyes or mucous membranes.  Essential oils are very strong and must be diluted (typically in a carrier oil) or incorporated into a finished product such as massage oil, lotion, or body/linen spray. They should only account for 1-2% of the total blend.

Here is a dilution formula to show as an example:

1% Dilution: 1oz = 30ml = 600 drops of oil : Add 6 drops of essential oil for every 1oz of carrier base.

2% Dilution: Add 12 drops of essential oil for every 1 oz of carrier base.
